From 30th March 2020, our Consultants will no longer be offering face-to-face consultations. However, we are pleased to announce we are now able to offer remote consultations by telephone or video call for new and existing patients.
Following the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus COVID-19, the UK Government has advised UK citizens to take unprecedented measures in order to minimise the spread of the outbreak. In light of this advice, we have reacted to ensure that we continue to provide our patients with a reliable, vital service that you have become to rely on, whilst protecting both our patients and staff.
We have taken these steps to ensure that our patients can continue to receive the care and treatment that they require at a time when they need it the most. We understand that your pain doesn’t stop just because of this highly unusual and awful situation that we now find ourselves in. Now, more than ever, whilst you may be socially distancing or self-isolating you may be requiring advice, medication and support with regards to your pain condition and the London Pain Clinic wants to support you through this in any way that we can.
New patients
If you are suffering with pain during the time of the COVID-19 outbreak and isolation period and are looking for a solution, please contact us to discuss a remote consultation with a Pain Consultant. We can make initial, remote consultations for the following pain complaints:
- Pelvic Pain
- Vulvodynia
- Fibromyalgia
- Post Herpetic Neuralgia
- Occipital Neuralgia
- Migraines
- Face Pain
- Trigeminal Neuralgia
- Ilioinguinal and genitofemoral neuralgia
- Back Pain – if you have had an MRI to diagnose/rule out any underlying problems
Existing patients
If you are an existing patient, we can offer a remote consultation via telephone with your Pain Consultant to discuss your treatment requirements and follow up from your last consultation. This is available for self-funding patients and many insured patients. Please contact us to book and check whether your insurer will cover the remote consultation if you are insured.
We have put procedures into place to ensure that we remain fully GDPR compliant. As with in-person appointments, your data will be completely secure, and you will continue to receive your clinic letter in a secure, encrypted manner as well as your GP.
Before you call us, please read this important advice about the Coronavirus.
